Borders Family History Society are organising a Family and Local History Fair and Conference on Saturday, 9th October in Melrose, Scotland to celebrate their silver jubilee. There are 4 speakers: Haunted Borders - noted local author, Norrie McLeish Borders Police Records - Juline Baird and Sarah Chapman My Life in Textiles - Ellis Macgregor Poor Relief in Melrose 1871-1890 - Peter Munro and 16 exhibitors so far.
