The next Rutherglen Historical Walk is Wednesday 26th August at 11.30am just outside Rutherglen Library.

In celebration of Rutherglen's history from 1126- 2026, join us on an historical walk to places associated with famous people from Rutherglen's history including William Wallace, Robert The Bruce, Allan Pinkerton, Archie Yuill, Sir Harry Lauder, Harry Haddock, Stan Laurel, Matt McGinn, Adam McNaughton, Bobby Murdoch, Andy Cameron, Molly Urquhart, Nicholas Parsons, Duncan McCrae, Gordon Jackson, Fulton MacKay, Robbie Coltrane, Alastair MacLean, Janet Brown, Midge Ure, Mamie Baird, Magnus Magnusson etc etc etc. Starting just outside Rutherglen Library at Mercat Cross.
