The Glasgow Academy was established in 1845 and the Archive collection covers all aspects of school life including records of the War Memorial Trust which governs the school, school registers, sports and extracurricular activities, records of clubs and societies, school magazines and publications, officer training corps records and other associated miscellaneous historical papers and objects. There is also a large collection of physical and digital photographic material and records relating to the Glasgow Academicals, Westbourne School for girls, Atholl Preparatory school and Dairsie House School.
Access to the collection is by appointment only.
