Live Argyll (Archives)

About this Organisation

Live Argyll is the cultural and leisure trust that manages the archives of Argyll and Bute Council. We hold the records of the current council and its predecessor authorities as well as those of families, estates, businesses and organisations within the Argyll and Bute Council area.

Our oldest record, the Charter of King Robert III erecting the town of Rothesay into a Royal Burgh, dates from 1400/01 and our most recent records are the agenda and report packs that are created today.
