Tullibody History Group

About this Organisation

Formed in 2001 to research, record and preserve the history and heritage of the villages of Tullibody and Cambus in Clackmannanshire. We opened our Heritage Centre in 2003 in the Tullibody Civic centre. We are open every Saturday afternoon 2--4pm from end of March to beginning of October and by mutual arrangement all year round. During the winter months we host a monthly slide show on the last Thursday of the month, a Christmas party in december and a summer outing in June/July.

Inside our centre you can see a model village of what Tullibody used to look like, a Victorian school room seating approximately 15 children, a 1940 war kitchen and a host of archive material and family history files on local families. This facility is under threat as Clacks Council want to dispose of the Civic Centre by September 2018.
