This talk takes place 7.30pm on Friday 18th February on Zoom. Dr. Nicki Scott's subject will be ‘Ancient Magnificence: Arbroath Abbey and beyond’. Nicki works for Historic Environment Scotland and is a Senior Cultural Resources Advisor mainly giving historical advice for the Angus area. She has indicated that she will follow on from John Borland’s talk last month on sculptured stones, illustrating how, from the sculptured Pictish stones which can be seen at Meigle and St Vigeans, monumental Christian worship developed into the medieval period.
