Mr Phil Bruce, who will present this talk, both trained and worked at the Scottish Fire Service College in Gullane. The College building started life as a hotel but became a college for Fire officers in 1954. In 2015 it unfortunately had to close and is now divided into residential apartments but Phil will recount its exciting days as Fire College.

Gullane and Dirleton History Society will hold its AGM between 6.30pm, and 7 o'clock when Phil will deliver his talk.
There will be light refreshments served afterwards.
