The Antonine Wall fort at Falkirk - Geoff Bailey

Geoff Bailey is a well-known archaeologist, historian, author and, until his recent retirement, was Falkirk Community Trust’s Heritage Engagement Officer. The Antonine Wall, in the Falkirk District in particular, has been a subject close to Geoff’s heart for more than 35 years and it has been at the centre of his work and study ever since. He still carries out regular excavations, investigating the route and features of this ancient Roman wall.
