Ready your muskets and join the Sir Arthur Erskine regiment for a tour of the site of Dunkeld's 1689 Jacobite Battle!

Guided tour with weapons display, telling the story of the Battle of Dunkeld which took place on Wednesday 21st August 1689. Re-enactors in period costume will take you step by step through the battle, which was only 25 days after the Jacobite win at Killiecrankie, ending with the destruction of the town and a Jacobite defeat. A critical moment in Scottish history which played a significant role in shaping the country’s future.
