You are cordially invited to the launch of a new book by Professor Carol McGuirk (Florida Atlantic University) entitled "Reading Robert Burns: Texts, Contexts, Transformations" in the Poetry and Song in the Age of Revolution Series, published by Pickering and Chatto. The launch will take place in the Screening Room (room G.04), of 50 George Square (School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures), University of Edinburgh, on Monday 15 December, from 4-6pm. It will include a talk from Professor McGuirk, live singing, and light refreshments.
