Edinburgh in the 1920s: Historical Photos

To complement our paintings representing the 1920s, SCRAN will take us on a walk through Edinburgh in the 'Roaring 20s'. Did you know Edinburgh’s cable trams were electrified in 1923 and this cable car system was once one of the largest and most complex in the world? Join us for an electrifying ride through the archive photography of 1920s Edinburgh. Jackie Sangster is a Learning Manager at Historic Environment Scotland who works with archival records including Scran.ac.uk.

Free but booking is essential. Book online [1].

This lecture will now be run online. Attendees will be sent joining instructions a day or so beforehand.
