Monday, 15 May 2017 - 7:30pm to 9:00pm
Baldernock Church Hall, Corner of Balmore Road and Glen Orchard Road, Balmore, G64 4AJ

Event Details

Well-known local historian Paul Carter talks on the intricate network of drove roads that laced across the landscape and the hardy folk that used them to bring large herds of cattle to the markets (the so-called 'trysts') of Crieff, Falkirk and elsewhere.

The traces of many of these drove roads across the landscape can still be walked, linking us directly to our history.
