Flax and Ploughing

When & Where

Baldernock Local History Group
Monday, 20 March 2017 - 7:30pm to 9:00pm
Baldernock Church Hall, Corner of Balmore Road and Glen Orchard Road, Balmore, G64 4AJ

Event Details

Using local documents and traditions, Niall Logan presents new information on two widespread aspects of rural life in 18th and 19th century Scotland.
He brings a strong local Baldernock slant to both, but signals the wider relevance of ploughing and flax growing in the past.
