Event Details

Don Martin - doyen of local history in East Dunbartonshire, and son of Kirkintilloch - talks on the puffer, the work-horse of Scottish canal and seaway. Many of these were built locally in Kirkintilloch shipyards before becoming a national design for coastal vessels.

Don is steeped in the local history of our area and brings a personal perspective to this story.
