Event Details

The next History Society virtual meeting will be on May 12th when the presentation by Jennifer Roberts is titled “Rock Art in Kirkcudbrightshire or Kirkcudbright: artists town for 5000 years”.
The talk will focus on the fantastic rock art that we have in Kirkcudbrightshire. Although most of the presentation will focus on our pre-historic rock art and what the local volunteers recording the rock art for the ScRAP found, it will also show that local artists have been creating ‘rock art’ in Kirkcudbrightshire from pre-historic times until the present day.
To register for the talk please email secretary@kirkcudbrighthistorysociety.org.uk [1]. Closing date is Friday 7th May.
