Greetings South Georgians and Penguin People,

The South Georgia Association (SGA) is holding a weekend event in Edinburgh from Friday 30th October to Sunday 1st November 2015. The organisations involved will include the SGA, the SGHT, the Ex-Salvesen’s Whalers Club and the National Library of Scotland. The provisional programme includes whisky tasting, geology field trips and visiting the zoo (to see the penguins), and a day of presentations (focussing on South Georgia) on the Saturday.
