Event Details

Spanish Influenza in Scotland - change to published programme. Speaker James Kennedy.

The Spanish Influenza Pandemic was a major global health event. The presentation will describe the impact in Scotland using a selection of geographical and individual cases studies from different parts of Scotland. James will also show a short video from the Florence Nightingale Museum which offers a background context to the pandemic. Laminated images of some aspects of pandemic will be available to view - not too gruesome I promise!
