Our next lecture will be given by Dr Rebecca Mason of the University of Glasgow on Wednesday, 16th March at 7pm, on the theme, "Widows, Dowers and Debts in Early Modern Scotland".

Dr Mason is an early modern historian, with expertise in Scottish legal, gender and social history. She is interested in the daily lives of ordinary women (and men) from the past and is currently completing a book on women’s navigation of legal systems and property rights.
