Appin Historical Society

About

This society holds meetings on the third Saturday of the month in the Port Appin Hall at 2.30 p.m. from September to March on a wide variety of subjects, not all local history. Also there are field trips from time to time. Members are notified about these.

We publish twice a year the APPIN ARCHIVE which contains articles, mostly about local history.

We have recently been given over 100 books along with maps and photographs by our late archivist. At the moment these have not been sorted but we hope to get this done over the winter.

We do not have a Geneologist.

Location

Port Appin Hall, Port Appin, PA38 4BQ
