About

Stirling Local History Society was established in 2006. We aim to stimulate interest in the history of the burgh and city of Stirling, Scotland. The object of the Society is to promote interest in, public awareness of, and an understanding of the local history of Stirling through education, research and life-long learning initiatives.

We hold monthly meetings during the winter months October to April (except December) covering a wide range of topics.

Ordinary Membership is £10; full-time students and people under 18 are free.
