Thirlestane Castle - Volunteering Opportunities

News

Thirlestane Castle is a 16th century historic castle located in the beautiful Scottish Borders town of Lauder. We are looking for volunteers to support the work of our charitable trust, bringing alive the incredible history of the castle to the thousands of people who visit each year from all over the world.

We have a number of different volunteering opportunities including castle guide, castle helper and grounds helper. If you love history or enjoy meeting a wide range of different people, or love being outdoors, why not consider volunteering.

We offer full training, travel expenses and a range of other benefits. For more information email visitorcoordinator@thirlestanecastle.co.uk [1].
