The History and Heritage Accommodation Guide, have been working on a project to map out key historic sites (such as castles, battlefields, anglo saxon and roman sites).

They aim to develop this into the most comprehensive collection of historic destinations on the internet by extending their interactive maps over the coming months to include abbeys, palaces, stately homes, ancient and prehistoric sites. Their next task however, is to collate and map museums. They would welcome comments from members regarding sites which they may have missed and/or your favourite museums.
