I have a project in hand whereby I am trying to record and rescue as many old Scottish bricks as possible. The idea is to form a Scottish National database of Scottish brickmarks. I am also trying to locate people with a similar interest and any that might have relevant information and indeed may be possible 'local' eyes on the ground, looking for those bricks that are still playing hard to find!
