Front Cover
Photographic recreation of Parliament Square, for the 'Old Edinburgh Reborn' project.
A virtual 3D computer model was created using all available contemporary plans and images. For maximum accuracy, surviving pieces of masonry were tracked down and scanned, then the scans put in place. A sky background and light source was added, then a virtual camera was positioned and a virtual photograph taken.
