About the speaker:
Susan Allan is a professional Architectural and Interiors photographer, based in Edinburgh and with a keen interest in the history of the people and stories behind our historical buildings. She is the author of "Hidden Edinburgh - A Walk Through Medieval History", which tells the story of the history of the Old Town of Edinburgh from its very beginnings to medieval times. It is a guide book aimed at visitors to Edinburgh who have an interest in both photography and history, with tips on where to get the best photos of our less well-known historical places. As well as her photography work, Susan also runs tours of the Old Town which follow the history shown in her book.
