Suggestions About Events

Scottish Local History Forum organises an annual Conference and Annual General Meeting in the Autumn and also occasional Spring events, such as conferences, workshops, local history fairs or visits.

We welcome suggestions about future events to be organised by SLHF.

  • Do you have ideas for future conference themes or suggestions for suitable speakers?
  • Would you or your organisation like us to help to organise a roadshow or workshop in your area, or to share a conference?
  • Do you know of a good venue in your area, with facilities for lectures, catering, good transport links and affordable?
  • Can you recommend places to visit in your area and would you like to share your local knowledge with other members?
