The Textile Collection is a research resource focusing on Scottish Textile Heritage from 1700 to the present day.

Key collections include business records and pattern books from Scottish Borders tweed mills, institutional records of the Scottish College of Textiles, Bernat Klein fabric and costume, tartan and highland dress, Paisley shawls, Donald Brothers of Dundee furnishing fabrics, lace and international textiles.
