About this Organisation

We are a constituted Voluntary Group formed in 2013 by the late Bobby Grierson with 150 members worldwide.
Annual membership is £10.
Our ever growing main website has comprehensive coverage of all things Cumnock including photographs, films, documents, research articles and much more.
We undertake local history research and family history.
We have monthly talks.
We can give talks locally in Ayrshire.
We can do a guided walk around Cumnock.

USB stick of Monumental Inscriptions and Headstone photographs of Cumnock old cemetery Barrhill Rd (2014) and Cumnock new cemetery Glaisnock Street (2020).
Pennylands Camp 22, WW2 - a POW camp and later a camp for repatriating Polish soldiers.
Information on all the men and women of Cumnock who participated in WW1.
Research into farms in the parishes of Auchinleck, New Cumnock, Ochiltree and Old Cumnock including those now gone.
