OrbitalFlyers
About this Organisation
OrbitalFlyers is an independent Scottish history and heritage filmmaking project, creating documentary films that explore the people, places and stories of Scotland’s past.
Our films combine on-location filming, aerial cinematography and historical research to bring local history to a wider audience. Subjects range from castles, churches and historic landscapes to the people, events and traditions connected with them.
OrbitalFlyers is based in Irvine, North Ayrshire, and films at historic locations across Scotland. The aim is to make Scottish local history accessible and engaging while showing the places where that history actually happened.
