'The Archaeology and History of Kirkcudbright MOD Range.'

Not many people know that the MOD have archaeologists! This talk will explore the role of the MOD archaeologists and their work to help preserve the historic environment within the wire of the MOD. It will also examine the history and archaeology of the Kirkcudbright ranges highlighting the issues of the managing the historic environment on a fully functional military training range.

Talks will be given ‘in person’ in Kirkcudbright Parish Church Hall at 7.30pm and will also be streamed to distant members and those who prefer to attend by Zoom.
