An online talk by Neil Paterson (Education Officer) and Kevin Frediani (Curator) of University of Dundee Botanic Garden.
Neil will talk about the origins of botanic gardens in the Italian Renaissance, their development in intimate association with European Imperialism and the history of gardens in Dundee, culminating in the Dundee Garden's foundation 50 years ago in 1971. Kevin will bring us up to date and beyond, introducing the development of the Garden to date and plans for an exciting future.
