Scottish Archaeological Forum Conference 2025 – Building Bridges: Connecting Scotland’s Archaeological Community
The Scottish Archaeological Forum (SAF) Conference 2025 will take place on 25–26 October 2025 at Nicolson Square Venues, Edinburgh, with both in-person and online participation options.
This year’s theme focuses on how Scotland’s archaeological community can strengthen connections across disciplinary, institutional, and sectoral boundaries. The conference will provide a forum for dialogue and collaboration, bringing together researchers, practitioners, heritage professionals, students, and community partners to reflect on shared challenges and opportunities for the future of archaeology in Scotland.
Across two days, the programme will feature a wide range of paper and poster presentations, alongside opportunities for discussion and networking. In-person delegates will enjoy lunch and refreshments on both days, as well as a wine reception, generously sponsored by AOC Archaeology.
Ticket prices:
General admission: £25
Concession (student/unwaged): £15
Online attendance: £10
