Everyone is very welcome to our August Open Day at the Cammo Estate, near Barnton, Edinburgh.

Take part in the excavation, learn about Cammo's history and characters and see our finds.

WALKING TOURS at 10.30 AM AND 1.00 PM

The Cammo Estate park is 85 acres of public parkland and nature reserve, perfect for picnics, dog walking and for enjoying one of Edinburgh's 'green lungs'.

The Leaf & Bean coffee van parks beside Cammo Lodge, where members of Edinburgh Archaeological Field Society will be on hand to direct you to the excavations, offer information, display some of our finds and from where the guided walks will start. The Lodge is also where loo facilities are available.

There are two car parks for the estate which are sign posted from Cammo Road.
