If you are interested in archaeology and local history, then be sure to come along to our Archaeology Open Day at Cleghorn Farm, on Saturday 24th September, between 10am and 2pm, to find out more about an exciting archaeological project being carried out onsite.
From Wednesday 21st September to Friday 23rd September, CCI in partnership with Archaeology Scotland, will be investigating a site on Cleghorn Farm to see if there is a native dwelling there, close to a known Roman encampment.
All are welcome at the Project's Open Day on Saturday 24th September, to view any finds and listen to talks on how the Romans interacted with our local population in the 1st and 2nd centuries.
