This seminar is the launch of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh's new online resource, The People’s Dispensary, which contains over 10,000 pages of digitised and transcribed 18th century patient case notes from the Edinburgh Public Dispensary.

From 2pm to 4pm Professor Gayle Davis (University of Edinburgh) will chair as Professor Keir Waddington (Cardiff University), Professor Samantha Williams (University of Cambridge) and Professor Bernard Harris (University of Strathclyde) present their papers. From 4pm to 5pm there will be a social hour with hot drinks and nibbles.
