Event Details
Don Martin, noted local historian and an authority on Thomas Muir, will outline Muir's background and his contributions to Scottish life and thought. Muir was an elder of the Cadder Church (across the Kelvin River from the Church Hall in Balmore where the talk will be given); the father of Scottish democracy, and a transported convict.
