In celebration of Rutherglens History from 1126- 2026 join us in a historical walk to places associated with famous people from Rutherglen's History including William Wallace, Robert The Bruce, Mary Queen of Scots, Allan Pinkerton, Archie Yuill, Sir Harry Lauder, Harry Haddock, Stan Laurel, Matt McGinn, Adam McNaughton, Bobby Murdoch, Andy Cameron, Molly Urquhart, Nicholas Parsons, Duncan McCrae,Gordon Jackson, Fulton MacKay, Robbie Coltrane, Alastair MacLean, Janet Brown, Midge Ure, Mamie Baird, Magnus Magnusson, John Logie Baird etc Starting just outside Rutherglen Library at Mercat Cross
